Easy Pichi Pichi Recipe

From the Page

Oh well, homemade is usually better anyway. The recipe below came from my sister, Roczane (her inaugural guest post!). Roczane is not vegan but keeps an open mind-and palate to vegan food and lifestyle. One strong proof is her homemade Pichi-Pichi. Microwave for 15-20 min (depending on how soft or hard you want it) Mix every 5 minutes or until there are no clumps. With her busy schedule, she rarely gets a chance to cook. Her Pichi-Pichi recipe is one of her favorites because it’s fast to make and requires only a few ingredients. She’s not the only fan, Pichi Pichi is considered a Filipino favorite dessert. I’m glad you notice that. Growing up eating heavily meat based dishes, RG often wondered if there’s ANYTHING ELSE out there that would not only TASTE GOOD but also make you FEEL GOOD (no guilt). Lo and behold, she has discovered the delicious world of vegan dishes! (yes, that’s delicious and vegan in one sentence). Since then, she’s been blogging with fellow Astig, TJ, about recipes they either “veganized” or originally created. Both of them also love to organize vegan potlucks with friends, often kicking butt in the game of charades. They’re also dabbling into the catering world so if you want to have an Astig dish at your party, just give them a holler. The AstigVegan Pinays:TJ is an occasional blogger with Astig Vegan and founder of the short-lived and now defunct blog Tsinay Vegan. They were not made for humans anymore than black people were made for white people or women for men." On the contrary, all exploitation is inextricably intertwined. All exploitation is a manifestation of violence. All discrimination is a manifestation of violence. As long as we tolerate violence of any sort, there will be violence of every sort."
